As a retired cheerleader, I am very proud to see us being represented in this video. Rezbekt! (That's ghetto for respect)
Watch it all the way through or be square!

....a long awaited day 2
This was supposed to be posted on day 2 but I had had (possibly a 'had' too many?) such a bad day I ended up procrastinating and watched 'Boob Envy' instead. Thank you Tegan :P
.... I then got distracted mid entry and am now over a week late to post! This is pretty much the story of my life. I can't even remember what I was planning on talking about here, aside from strange boobs. This is definitely not a good read, and for that I apologise to both of my followers. The fact that I live with them and I could just be saying all of this to their faces doesn't even come into play, I promise to be a better blogger.
Until next time....
...Which will probably be in about 4 months time if 'Penis Envy' has anything to do with it.

Right then!
I have been thinking about what bit of fly away information I want to keep safe on here first, and it has got to be this link.
I literally adore this video. It is a montage of recordings from a live performance which incorporates the use of infrared cameras, graphics and projectors to create some mind blowing images. I have to keep reminding myself when I watch this that "it's all live". The use of technology here is so innovative, it really raises live performance to another level. The thing I love about contemporary dance is, just when you think that people have explored all the boundaries, and pushed artistic limits as far as you could possibly imagine them to go, some genius uncovers an even more revolutionary area of performance which surpasses anything you have seen previously. It makes me exited to be alive in this era of dance. Is this what dancers felt like in the 19th Century when short tutus were invented? I wonder what the future generations of dance will say when they look back on our era.
Ramble over....for now.

An Introduction
Well this is my first ever post on my first ever blog. I'm not exactly sure what a blog is for but my housemate KEIRAN (not to be confused with KIERAN) has advised me to create a this as a storage space for all the bits and bobs that I am forever writing down on scrap paper, which then vanish into thin air. These include things like:
- Links to videos
- Songs that I am dancing to
- Research material
- Uni notes
- Other stuff that doesn't matter to anyone else
....and of course, my thoughts and observations.
Xxx <-- Are they appropriate for a blog? I have no idea.
